Typically the cost of trading from 8 to the 4 range is a few mid round picks. In a draft where picks 4 thru 15 are pretty much all the same talent tier, even less. If Murray gave up a top 6 forward and a top 4 dman to move up 4 spots and draft a comparable player to what he could get at 8, he should be shown the door. Immediately

Chia doesn't trade that pick unless he can package it for a legit 1 2 guy. He has some current forwards he can move for a top 4. The # 4 is more intriguing to teams because of the expansion draft. Not having to protect him.

That's a pretty solid proposal. I'd imagine the oilers would defs be interested especially if a 2nd/3rd rounder was added.

I would do a deal that involved Bogo and the 8th for our 4th in a heartbeat....as for any proposal to Edmonton that includes Ennis?

Ya I think the oil would do bogo +8 for 4 + reinhart. And if your willing to throw in a 3rd then that's a done deal. Then the oil take Logan brown at 8. That would be a pretty good draft day for them


Edit: or even trade down a few more spots and take Fabro/mcavoy. Those are the two best D options for the oilers in the first round
